BOOSTXL-TUSS4470: Hardware Disconnected Problem

I am using TUSS4470 to test my ultrasound transducer, but when I connected the evaluation board to the PC as guided by the instruction. The GUI software shows hardware disconnected, I tried the "one_time_setup.bat" and install the MSP430 USB drivers mentioned in another forum "">e2e.ti.com/.../boostxl-tuss4470-tuss4470-not-detected-by-evm-gui---hardware-disconnected". But it does not work. I used USB mode only and three LED are green (shown in picture) which means it should work according to the guide book. I also tried on different laptops with Win 11 system but still does not work. Is that the driver is not suitable for Win 11 system? Could you please help me solve this problem.

Hello Xichen,

Can you please take a look in device manager to see the status of the COM ports? Are there any errors? kYou may have to uninstall the driver and re install.

Hello Eddie,

I can only see MSP in the hidden device; nothing changes when I insert and remove the USB. I tried to uninstall the driver and re-install it and still does not work. Also, I noticed that two front LEDs do not illuminate differently from the guideline which I missed before (the other 3 LEDs illuminate normally ) shown in figure (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bw3wTKL1h5qHZWhIMRR1Tm3FsC8AJR3L/view?usp=sharing). I also tried it with a Win 7 Laptop, it has the same problem. In Windows 7, it only shows some difference in the Universal Serial Bus controller as shown in the figure (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NvwgIqA0sIFSV4yVgQbkVMmgLYLQ4TE7/view?usp=sharing) but the result is still the same (hardware disconnected) (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kg_wZLYv_vPQ3PcmxcfLsOJAJ3kVukLT/view?usp=sharing). I am not sure whether it is a software or hardware issue now.

Sorry, I am not able to view the images. Have you been able to install the firmware? This is detailed in section 3.2 of the users guide. If you are unable to flash the board through the GUI, you could also try in Uniflash.
