AWR2243: 2x AWR2243 cascading phase shift config for advanced mode

Hi,

We are using cascading mode for 2 * AWR2243 and we need to know how the phase shift configuration should be implemented in case of Advanced mode configuration with two subframes.

    Hi Amine,

    Can you elaborate on what you mean by advanced mode? Are you perhaps referring to the advanced frame or advanced chirp mode?

    If you mean to say you have 2 subframes and each need to have a different sequence of phases, there are 2 ways to achieve this:

    1. Define different profile configurations for each of the sub-frames and have the phase shift per Tx enabled (This is usable if the phase shift does not change over chirps, or the combinations should be programmable within the max num of profiles)
    2. You can use the advanced chirp method to program your subframes as required. This option provides more flexibility and is recommended. You can refer to the mmwave DFP user guide available in the DFP to understand how to use this.
