I would like to implement the TIDEP-01000 app note "People Tracking and Counting Reference Design Using
mmWave Radar Sensor" - can it be implemented stand alone on the IWR6843AOPEVM board or is another EVM needed?

Hi,

You can run People Tracking and Counting Reference Design using IWR6843AOPEVM. But you will not be able to debug or do any development.

You will need MMWAVEICBOOST (https://www.ti.com/tool/MMWAVEICBOOST) to debug(JTAG connection) on IWR6843AOPEVM and any modification that you may want to do to the demo
