TMP275: TMP275

Part Number: TMP275

Tool/software:

Dears,

The TMP275 is powered on but the SCL SDA pin is suspended, and the chip power consumption is about 40uA. Please help confirm the following problems

What mode is the chip in at this time?

Whether being in this mode for a long time will cause damage to the chip?

Thanks

  • Hi Ning,

If the communication lines are being purposedly not running, this is a normal state for the device in which it will continue to make temperature conversions and hence draw current.

If this is the use case, I would recommend looking into having the device run in shutdown mode to minimize current consumption.

    Best regards,
