AWRL6432: issue on flashing the application

Hi there,

I am using the ARWL6432AOP (XA6432BRBAAMYQ1) custom board.

The problem is when I try to flash the application using commands, it is not working, even if I followed how to flash in README_FIRST_xWRL6432 file from xWRL6432 MMWAVE-L-SDK 05.05.00.02.

I have the below log and got it stuck even though I set the SOP to flash mode.

INFO : Port Opened
set break signal
--- please restart the device ---

Flashing through the Uniflash does not work either.

What I have checked out so far is CCS is working and UART is OK as well.

Writing to the flash has no issue in CCS debug mode.

Could you let me have any hints for this trouble?

Hi,

Please note that AWRL6432AOP devices have been pulled out from ti.com. 6432AOP devices are now available only for Industrial applications (not for automotive applications) which is IWRL6432AOP.

Could you kindly let me know the reason and future plans about like when AWRL6432AOP or other device for automotive applications will be available again?

Hello,

We do not have any future plans for AWRL6432AOP device as of now. You can use AWRL6432(60GHz) device for low power automotive applications which is a FCCSP device, not antenna on package device. For high performance, you can use AWR6843 or AWR6843AOP devices (60GHz).
