HDC2021: HDC2021DEBT

Part Number: HDC2021

Tool/software:

HDC2021DEBT Texas Instruments product from Viassion Technology Co., Ltd. in 2022 to use in our humidity sensor measurements. 

However, we have seen that the measurement and behavior of HDC2021DEBTs in the same condition and environment are different. Some have high measurements and some have low measurements. 

Unfortunately, the humidity values in calibration laboratories in 17025 standards are different from each other. What could be the reason for this? The black covers were removed and assembled. 

Could there be something else to pay attention to? 

What should we pay attention to in the HDC2021DEBT for installation or other issues in order to get the same, reliable and rigid measurements for all sensors?

    I'm going to need a little more information to better understand the issue.

    1. Could you please share the data obtained from these measurements?

    2. Are the high and low measurements you are seeing temperature or RH?

    3. Are these devices being tested in two different laboratories and how are they being tested (is there a reference probe)?

    4. When you say the black covers were removed and assembled do you mean the tape was removed before or after the device was soldered to the board?

    5. What is the assembly process for these devices?
