TDC1000: Identifying Pin1 on TSSOP package

Page 60 of the TDC1000 datasheet indicates that there should be a mark identifying Pin1 on the TSSOP package.

The set of devices I received from TI don't have such a mark. There is a copyright type symbol, but that is between pins 3,4

Is it safe to assume Pin 1 from the orientation of the device text? IE bottom leftmost pin?

Hello Paul,

Thanks for posting to the sensors forum. The marking you see near pins 3 and 4 is the pin 1 marking and it is not a copyright symbol. The marking is not super specific on the datasheet so I apologize for any confusion.

Thank you for replying. So I assume then that pin1 is the left most pin near that mark by pin3
