AWR1843AOP: Use MRR beamsteering on AWR1843AOP

Part Number: AWR1843AOP

Tool/software:

Hello,

I'm interesting in using MRR beamsteering on AWR1843AOP as mentioned in the below thread;

e2e.ti.com/.../awr1843aopevm-running-the-medium-range-radar-on-awr1843aop

MRR beamsteering Users Guide:

dev.ti.com/.../node

I have some questions about it.

1) MRR demo supports the three modes (MRR subframe only / USRR subframe only / USRR+MRR subframes).

   What are the merits of using USRR+MRR subframes mode compared to other modes?

2) If only MRR beamsteering is used for AWR1843AOP, is it theoretically possible to calculate 3D angle?

Please advise.

Thank you for your cooperation.
