DRV5056-Q1: -40C and +85C operation

Part Number: DRV5056-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I would like to ask if you have any information regarding the performance of DRV5056-Q1, specifically between -40C and +85C.

Do we have any impact on sensitivity, output voltage, etc? If so, do you have any simulation tools to help calculate impact and how to compensate for it?

Thanks,

Daria

  • Daria,

Please refer to the product data sheet for over-temp performance plots which show the characteristic plots from -40°C to 150°C.

    https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv5056-q1.pdf#page=6

These plots include behavior of Icc, Quiescent Voltage (offset) and Sensitivity at multiple operating voltages.

We do have a simulation tool which models the device behavior with magnetic fields using typical specs and applies the on-chip temperature compensation for magnetic field drift.  It does not model all of the non-ideal behaviors of the device, however.  It can be accessed here:

    Thanks,

    Scott
