Hi Dear,

I would like to use the TDC1000 for application in anemometer sensor,

I read that the frequency is between 31.25 kHz and 4 MHz.

I would like to use a ultrasonic sensor with 400 kHz of resonance frequency, so, we want to measure until 75 m/s with 0.1 m/s of resolution.

I ask if this component could be used for this application and if there is some documentation about it.

We do not have any reference designs available for anemometer application, but potentially the TUSS4470 could be used. See the thread below.

If you wanted something that is targeted at flow metering and includes algorithms for measuring time of flight, the MSP430FR604x devices could be used. See the thread below.

There is also an application brief on anemometer application with the MSP430FR6043. As Isaac mentioned in the thread above, this is supported by the MSP430 team.

thanks for you support,

so potentially I can use the TUSS4470.

Do you have or can you help me to develop a best bandpass filter (4th or more order) with fc 400 kHz? My sensor has a frequency range 400±15 kHz. We are using now the OPA836 and the signal received is about 20 mV and we want to have at least 4.8 Vpp with virtual ground 2,5 V because we want to use the internal comparator of the processor.

For TUSS4470, the bandpass filter can be set using the the formulas below for CINN and CFLT.
