Hello,
I want to use the LDC1614 sensor with a 5mm coil for precise distance measuements.
As the coil will be mounted in a casing made out of aluminum, i need to shield one side of the coil. At the other side i will use an aluminum target.
Now to the question:
Can i take a flat piece of ferrite or other material as a shield?
The option to "shield" the coil using plastic with a thickness of 2,5x the coil diameter is not realy an option because it would tkae away too much space.
