IWR1843BOOST: Debugging Stationary Object Detection on IWR1843BOOST – Examples/Config for 50 m

Part Number: IWR1843BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2243

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

I am working with the IWR1843BOOST and need to enable stationary object detection within ~50 m.

With the existing examples (e.g., traffic monitoring), moving object detection works correctly, but stationary targets are not being retained in the output. I have already experimented with enabling/disabling and modifying static clutter removal (clutterRemoval), but this did not resolve the issue—stationary detections are still not visible.

To debug further, could you please clarify:

  • Are there any TI examples/demos where both stationary and moving objects are supported on the IWR1843BOOST?

  • Are there any reference configuration files/designs specifically tuned for retaining stationary targets up to 50 m?

Application context: Detecting vehicles that stop/park, pedestrians standing still, and obstacles on the road.
