If I change the antenna placement of the IWR6843ISK but do not update gAntDef_default (antenna_geometry.c) from the OOB default settings,

how will this affect the point cloud?

Will the spatial resolution decrease or be degraded?

    Hello.

    The pointcloud will be incorrect as the points will not have an accurate angle estimation, resulting in incorrect points.

    If you are talking about range resolution, this will not be impacted by the antenna geometry and is a function of your frequency slope and bandwidth in your chirp design.
