Hi,

the datasheet states total component FIT rate of 18, but my customer cannot comprehend this taking into account the parameters in their calculation.

Can you share the complete calculation that leads to FIT rate 18?

Does table 2-1 include the hall element from figure 1-1 with an additional FIT rate?

Was the application note I sent able to address questions about the details of the FIT rate calculation? https://www.ti.com/lit/wp/sloa294a/sloa294a.pdf This details the standards we follow when calculating FIT rate.

We take into account the number of transistors, the die temperature rise based on power dissipation and package thermals, pin configuration, and supply voltage.
