Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCA1000EVM, AWR2944EVM, IWR1843
Tool/software:
Hi,
I am a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am currently working with my team on a senior design capstone project, and we are discussing the possibility of using the AWR1843BOOST. We want to imitate a radar spoofing attack, with one AWR as the attacker, the other as the victim. I want to know a few things regarding the capabilities of the board:
- Can I inject IQ parameters into the attacker AWR to transmit at a frequency that I decide (within 76-81 GHz) to the victim AWR?
- Can the AWR analyze IQ data coming from the victim AWR signal? Would I have access to that data on the TI SDK? Can I extract it to MATLAB on my computer directly from AWR?
- Do I need to use the DCA1000EVM (or equivalent board) if I want to extract data to my personal device?
If the AWR1843BOOST is a poor choice in this case, I would also love to know if there are other boards recommended that are capable of what I described above (like the AWR2944EVM).
