IWR6843-AOP datasheet provides antenna gain plots for Tx/Rx in both Azimuth (H-plane) and Elevation (E-plane). This will be great if you can share information of test setup and facility details (e.g., test lab used, test methodology) for the measurement of Antenna gain & radiation pattern.

    Can you provide details of test methodology & test equipment used to measure Tx & Rx antenna gain and radiation pattern.

    How can we measure IWR6843AOP Tx/Rx antenna gain & radiation pattern?

    That is the same environment where the radiation pattern for the data sheet is extracted from.

    Low cost set up details and requirements are mentioned in the same document (Section: 2.1 Hardware)

    Further details on the anechoic chamber size and recommendations are also mentioned in the subsequent sections. 

    Antenna gain separately cannot be measured since this is antenna on package. Please refer to the device data sheet for the EIRP numbers.

    I understand, testing is done in anechoic chamber. I am looking for the details of anechoic chamber like size of chamber, types of RF absorbers used in chamber, frequency range, Shielding Effectiveness of these RF absorbers, distance between Radar & Corner reflector, specification of corner reflector and the location of this lab if possible, we can refer to plan for proto & product level testing. 

    Also, I am looking for reference document/link of specific test firmware used for Radar Antenna Gain & Radiation pattern testing. 

    In the document "mmWave Production Testing Overview", it is recommended to use "Low-Cost Bench Top Anechoic Chamber" for the calibration and production testing. Is it possible to use "Low-Cost Bench Top Anechoic Chamber" to perform Antenna gain & radiation pattern test?
