TMCS1126: Product Resolution

Hi,

i am going to use TMCS1126A3A in my project and i need to be sure about the resolution. as it is not mentioned in the datasheet, i was wundering if you have a number for that?

my guess is: 

  • sensitivity: 75 mV/A
  • zero offset error : 0.2mV

then the equivalent current error is (0.2/75) +-2.7mA -> that is the minimum current that sensor can measure but there are other parameters which affect the resolution. can you tell me the resolution ?

    Toktam, 

    The TMCS1126 is an analog device and as such doesnt have a resolution specification. This would be more a specification of the ADC that the device is sampled by, should the measurement be quantized in application. 

    For analog products, we more look at accuracy in the application, which will be based on total error of the measurement. We provide a calculator that will let you examine RSS error for various use cases here.
