Hi team,

If the light source is 50Hz or 60Hz. Will this type of light source affect the detection of OPT4001-Q1, for example, possibly detecting incorrect low brightness values that differ from what the human eye sees?

The measurement shall not be sensitive to frequencies induced by artificail light. Example: line frequence 50 or 60Hz. We are using the 1.8ms conversion time.

    Hello Xiaoxiang, 

    This should not be a concern if using continuous measurement mode, in this case the average of the results will be the level of brightness seen by the human eye.  If this application is utilizing monoshot mode and is taking single measurements then I would recommend using a longer conversion time.
