OPT3001-Q1: Regarding changes of register settings

Hello Support team,
After the sensor is configured in Continuous conversions mode, if we want to change the Register settings, do we need to stop (shutdown) the sensor first?

Hi Tomita,

You do not need to shutdown the sensor to change the configuration register settings. If it is changed during a conversion, the measurement will be automatically aborted and a new one with the new settings will start.
