TMP302A pullup/pulldown values

Hi,

Can you please give the recommended pullup/pulldown resistance values for the TMP302A TS0 and TS1 setting inputs?

We are using a 47K pullup to VCC for the TS1 line, and 0 Ohm pulldown to GND for TS0 expecting a 60 Deg C trip, but seem to be tripping at 50 Deg C.

Hello Andy,

TS0, TS1 pins need to be treated as digital inputs. It looks like the 47k Ohm pull up on TS1 is treated as a logic '0' input (instead of logic high) due to which the part is tripping at 50deg C. So, it is highly recommended to connect TS1 input directly to supply to achieve 60deg C trip.

Is there a weak pull down connected internally at these inputs?

It would be helpful if you could add something about this in the data sheet.

Hello Andy,

Glad we could help youn you out on this. These inputs are not connected to a weak pull down internally. I will take your suggestion and I do understand it is not always easy to find answers for what you need in the data sheet.
