Transfer Function for Temperature ICs - LM45

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM45, LM20

Does a 2nd order (parabolic) transfer function equation exists for the LM45 part?

(Similar to the one given for the LM20 part on page 6 of its datasheet)

Datasheet LM20 → http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm20.pdf

  • Hi Eric,

That's a great question. The LM45 has a totaly different topology than the LM20. It is based on a bipolar process. So unfortunately there isn't a second order equation that you can use for better accuracy other than the simple 10mV/C.

    Take care,
