LM95233 / about TCRIT function

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM95233

Hi,

Our customer has questions about TCRIT function of LM95233.

They believe the output signal of TCRIT pin become low when the monitor temperature is above setting threshold.

In addition, it takes conversion-rate time that configured CR[1:0] to toggle TCRIT signal high to low.

Is their understanding of this correct ?

Best Regards,

kato

  • Hi Kato-san,

I will get back to you soon.

  • Hi Kato-san,

TCRIT pin will trigger to a LOW when the temperature reaches to TCRIT limit, and pull up HIGH when the temperature is below the hysteresis.

The conversion rate specified in the CR[1:0] is the time interval for all channels of temperature conversion. It depends on how fast the temperature ramp up to the temperature TCRIT limit within one conversion. It may take at least several conversions to toggle the TCRIT pin to a LOW. The device will trigger the TCRIT pin to a LOW when all the temperatures conversion are done and the TCRIT limit is met.

I hope this is clear. Please let me know if you have further question.
