I am trying to make a temperature probe using the LM34 temp sensor. Is there any maximum distance I can run wire leads?

Hi,

The maximum length is dependent on the stray capacitance of the wire and the environment that the wire is in. Watch out for noise coupling and follow the datasheet recommendations for capacitive loading on page 6.
