Please let me know about meaning of LM92's configuration resister "D5 ～D7".

(Datasheet P13 Table-4)

Customer evaluating LM92, but D7-resister changed "1".

What is the cause which becomes D7："1"?

Is it no problem by a condition of D7："1"?

Hi Satoshi,

Bits D7 to D5 are meant to put the LM92 into certain test modes during production to test for different parameters. We do not recommend the customer putting any values besides 000b as the part can act in a way not guaranteed by the datasheet.

When customer evaluated, it becomes automatic (forced) in "100b".

Are there a problem and a measure?

Hi Satoshi,

I've spoken with members of my team and I have a few more questions. How many parts exhibit this behavior? Can they send us a part that has this behavior? Can they double check their code to make sure they are not writing any data into those bits?
