About Pin out of LMT84 / LMT85 / LMT86 / LMT87 (DCK package)

Please let me know about 2 point below of LMT84~LMT87's DCK package.

①Why these devices difference pin out?

For example, LMT86's 1-pin is GND, but LMT87 is VDD.

(I think thar If these device are pin compatible, customer more easy to use)

②About LMT85~LMT87, why VDD have multi pin?

I think that multi-VDD pin need high current(loss) device, but LMTxx is low power.

And, when VDD supply connect only 1-pin, is it no problem?

(Other VDD pin is open or connect capasitor)

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Hi Satoshi,

Pin 4 of the DCK package is the true VDD of the part which is why there is a bypass capacitor connected to it. Pins 1 and 5 are used to set the gain of the output slope of the device:

    Device Pin 5 Pin 1
    LMT84 GND GND
    LMT85 GND VDD
    LMT86 VDD GND
    LMT87 VDD VDD
