Sensing Solutions EVM GUI / Sensor initialization current

Hi,

Please let me ask about sensor initialization current in GUI. I know that we need to click "Detect Idrive Init" bottom to get code then input the code to the left. Then I'd like to know if I need to click the bottom with or without target. And also which position of target (closest or midle???) will be recommended if need to set target.

    Hello Sonoki-san,

    I recommend initializing the current when the target position is at the maximum distance that it will be in a real system. This is to prevent the amplitude to exceed 1.8Vpk when the target is moved further away from the coil.

    Keep in mind that if you have several identical sensors (same L and C) in your system, they should all have the same IDRIVE setting to ensure consistency in your measurements.
