How TDC chips can be used in final design without EVM board?

Hello, I am working on a fluid level sensing project. I recently saw introductory videos of TDC1000 and TDC1011 chips. An EVM board is being used for evaluation purpose in those videos. I have already received TDC1011 chips but not EVM board. My question is how to use TDC1011 in my circuit along with my Ultrasonic Transducers without EVM board. Thanks.

One way of approaching this is to look at the TI reference designs for level and flow applications using the TDC chips. You can find it at the link below

Thanks, Vishy. I looked at these reference designs. I am quite new Electronics geek. Do I have to make clone of this whole reference board(TIDA-00322)? I wanted to make a miniature and cost effective design to fit it into my product. Is there any way to operate these TDC chips by using less components?

Vishy, How much minimum voltage is required to power whole circuit? Also, we want to implement whole circuit at cost like somewhat around USD 5. Is it possible? Should we look at TDC chips? Thanks.

You have to carefully review the TIDA documentation (includes schematic and layout) and also the data sheets of all the devices used in the design and make design decisions. You can get a rough cost idea of the cost involved from digikey.
