Hi Everybody,

Since I am electronic engineer and have a project is running :

Use TOF to calculate distance / cencetrate / density in different liquid.

I know the formula c=(k/d)^0.5, in the formula k and d all have relationship with temperature,

c : speed of sound in liquid, k:bulk modulus of elasticity, d:density

Anyone could help me to find the different liquid parameter k and d, and formula of temperature with both ?

Roden,

There are empirical tables that directly show the variation of speed of sound with temperature. That’s what we use when we want to, for example, account speed of sound variation with water temperature. As an example, for water, you can check the link below

I think I will discuss with my customer that will build external table with different liquid / temperature.

It is too complicated to build formula in MCU with different liquid / temperature.
