Hi Seishin,

TMP101 detects the address at the beginning of each I2C communication.

Dear Aaron,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Our customer reduces circuit noise by inserting a capacitor between ADD0 and GND.(The following circuit)

When the beginning of each I2C communication, can TMP101 normally detects the slave address?

Hi Seishin,

I'm sorry for the delay. ADD0 is an input logic levels so I don't think it is necessary adding a bypass cap. With your configuration, ADD0 pin is always pulling to HIGH. Please make sure that the GPIO should pull down to LOW not in tri-state.
