Hi, is there any way to interface the FDC2214EVM sensor with a Linux-based system (since the GUI is only available on Windows) or connect it to a Raspberry Pi and receive data? Is there code available for Linux? Thanks!

Hi Nick,

The GUI comes with a protocol JSON file that details the requirements for communicating within a Linux environment. This SSP_Protocol_Int0v4.js file can be found within the C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.8.8\PC GUI\node_modules\SspEvmNodeJS directory.

Thanks Rachel! I'm not too familiar with how this works. Can you tell me how exactly I can use this JSON file to run the GUI on Linux?

Hi Haein,

Oh, I see - currently, Linux is not supported but is definitely possible via some creative tweaks. However, I would suggest using a Windows machine for now if possible.
