64-bit version of DPInst.exe

Hello,

I am trying to install the LM95071 Evaluation board on a Windows7 64-bit machine. I downloaded the latest SensorEval software- 1.2.1 with Windows 7 patch but I get the error Install the 64-bit version of DPInst.exe.Contact Vendor. Where do I get that version of the software?

    Hi Savitha,

    As far as I recall, I don't think version 1.2.1 will work with the patch that I posted on the web. You need to uninstall the version 1.2.1, and install version 1.2.0 that came with the patch. Please make sure you read the instruction provided with the patch in order to get the software working on Windows 7. Please let me know if you can't get it to work.

    Hi Aaron,
    Thanks for the reply. I had installed both the software & the patch from the TI website. I found an XP machine & was able to use the hardware successfully. I will try with version 1.2.0 on windows 7 & let you know. Where is this version of software available?

    Great! I'm glad you are able to get the XP computer. The software version 1.2.0 came with the patch.
