Dear forum members and ti representatives,
We are using PGA450 to get ourselves compact single LIN connected sensor for distance sensing around the system.
The problem we have gotten mostly is that after we designed our new board (second revision now) we have huge issue of the chips death on random time in the final device assembly.
We have all-ready built in transient supression etc but our system is running on single lithium polymer battery. even on hot swap cases the transients we have measured are small.
Currently we seem to have had power failures on the hot swap and basically all inputs or outputs have stopped working after assembly.
The question is that are there any ideas on how to increase the system reliability? The io death issue is so serious that we are baffled. We have got a large amount of different designs starting from 0.4mm pitch bga-s to any sort of qfn possible and such chip death issue after assembly is something we have never met with before.
Long story short, how can we stop the gpio-s death and make the chip usable.
With best regards
