LDC1101: ESD protection for INA and INB pins.

Part Number: LDC1101

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask LDC1101?

Could you give us the advice ESD protection for INA and INB pins?
If static electricity adds to INA and INB pins, the ports might be broken.
In this case, we think it requires to add ESD protection.
So, low input capacitance is better, isn't it?
(If you have recommendation, could you let us know?)

Kind regards,

Hirotaka Matsumoto

  • Hello Matsumoto-san,
any ESD protection on the sensor will degrade sensing performance. The sensor components itself already absorbs a significant amount of energy from an ESD spike themselves, so ESD protection on the sensors is typically not required.
