Do you have a introduction results for skin temperature with TMP116?
I'd like to use FPC（Flexible Printed Circuits).
TMP116 measure a temperature through behind on package, so the thermal conductivity of material should be high and isolated from skin.
If you have a design example, please let me know.

Thank you for reaching out to us for your inquiry. I just want to clarify that the TMP116 in WSON package senses the temperature through the pins and thermal pad, but the majority thermal contribution is the thermal pad not the package body (mold compound).
Here is an example for your guideline.

Generally I think that a metal is better to measure skin temperature because of low thermal resistance, but casing cost will be high.
Is it possible to use polycarbonate for stiffner?
Should we use metal for skin temperature measurement?
TIDA-00824 uses LMT70 with following casing.
