For TMP116EVK, is it possible to launch more than one of the same EVK software on the same computer to take readings from multiple Temp sensor at the same time (not necessary time synchronized)?

    Hi Laura,

    No, the TMP116EVM does not support multiple instances of the GUI running concurrently on the same PC.

    Hi Laura,

    Thank you for reaching out to us. Unforunately, the firmware only supports one board per handle due to the open and close communication of the controller associated with the specified handle.

    However, you can connect four devices on the same TMP116EVM I2C bus by separting the board at the perforation breakout tab with 3 additional boards. You can simply configure each board on the TMP116 device side with an unique address then solder with a wire to the TMP116EVM. The current software GUI doesn't support multiple device on the same board. I can send you the previous version v1.2.1.
