IWR1642: No heart rate shown in Vital sign demo

Hi,

I run the vital sign demo on one IWR1642 EVM, the result is always shown as below figure, the heart rate is zero, seems the breathing waveform is also not correct. Would u pls instruct me the possible cause? I run in another EVM the result is correct, seems the cause is the hardware, but i don't know what hardware issue would cause such result, is it possible to repair the board?

Andy,

It is difficult to immediately conclude that the board is the problem here. Have you tried other IWR1642 Labs on this specific board? Are you sure it isn't an issue with your EVM setup? Can you confirm you have used the same binary image on both boards?

I tried the same image on different IWR1642BOOST board, current found two boards have the same issue, it cannot display the chest displacement, sometimes both breathe and heart rate are zero. I tried same image on several other IWR1642 boards it can show the breathe and heart rate with normal value. I confirmed the image burn and EVM setup are correct. It is very strange, can u instruct me how to debug it and what information u want to do offline debug?

I found the difference between issue and normal board is the COM port number, the operation and image are fully same.
