Hi Atul,

The recommended Antenna design is from the IWR1642BOOST and the radiation pattern can be found in its User Guide. Is this what you are asking?

Can an external antenna be used for wider coverage ? If yes, which external antenna is to be used ? Any part number of external antenna ?

Hi Atul,

External antenna is definitely possible but will rely on the constraints of your particular design. Starting this time next week we are aiming to have an Antenna Design Database on the TI-Resource Explorer under the mmWave Sensors Industrial Toolbox. Until then I'd recommend looking at the section title Design Files on the IWR1642BOOST page.
