Customer is currently using this LMT87-Q1 temperature sensor for one of our applications. He was curious about the worst-case temperature accuracy for this component.
Table 7.5 in the datasheet lists a worst-case variance of -2.7 degrees C. This is quite a large tolerance compared to the typical reading ( -0.3 to 0.6 degrees C). I'd like to know the general distribution here if possible - is it a normal distribution, and what percentage lies within the typical range? Does this worst-case variance rely on specific conditions such that the variance would be better under different conditions?
