# LDC1612: I want to recreate Graphs for LDC1612 H coil, Q vs Frequency, L, Rs Vs Frequency

Part Number: LDC1612

I have LDC1612- H coil

I want to repeat the process of finding L,Rs, Q, C values

And Plot the Graphs for L ,Q , Rs,C Vs Frequency

I know the formula for quality factors = Rp* square root of (C/L)

How to calculate Rp?

How the Values of Rs, L,Q, C are determined for the particular coil- H

Equipment using Network Analyzer.

You can get the Rp measurement using a Network Analyzer. Here is an app note that explains how to do it: www.ti.com/.../snoa936.pdf. Refer to Section 2 of the App note. Then you can use the formula Q = Rp *Sqrt(C/L) and fsensor = 1/(2*pi*sqrt(L*C)) to go back and forth between variables. Another tool that will be really useful in your case is the "Inductive Sensing Design Calculator" that you can get it from: www.ti.com/.../slyc137. Open "LDC_Tools-ext49.xlsx" which includes a lot of design consideration and automated calculations. I hope this helps!
