TMP464: MMBT3904 transistor selection

Hi Sir,

Due to space limit, customer would like to use below device as MMBT3904 transistor, is that ok?

Anything need to modify?

    Hey Patrick,

    Yes this should be fine. Per the section 8.2.1 of the datasheet, Either NPN or PNP transistors can be used, as long as the base-emitter junction is used as the remote temperature sensor. NPN transistors must be diode-connected. PNP transistors can be either transistor- or diode-connected.
