Linux/HDC1080EVM: Where is the source code for the firmware running on the EVM board and for the Windows GUI software?

Part Number: HDC1080EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HDC1080, USB2ANY

Tool/software: Linux

Hi THS team,

I'm posting this question on behalf of my customer. Below is some more information for context.

I ordered the HDC1080EVM to evaluate the HDC1080 Humidity and Temperature sensor.

http://www.ti.com/tool/hdc1080evm?keyMatch=HDC1080EVM&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything

I also downloaded all related documents including the EVM GUI Tool (V1.10.0 (Rev. F) software.

It seems to me the software supporting the HDC1080EVM is a Windows base application.

In our application, Linux is our OS (for embedded application). My question:

Does TI has any Linux support for the HDC1080EVM module? How? Source code available?

He needs access to the sourcecode for the EVM GUI Tool (V1.10.0 (Rev. F) software so it can be used as reference to create the Linux USB driver for the HDC1080EVM. I've directed him to the HDC10x0_EVM_Firmware_source file located in the full download for the EVM software, but I'm unsure if this is the source code for the firmware running on the EVM board or for the Windows GUI software. Either way, he needs both.. please advise how he can access those.

Thanks,

Lauren
