TDC7200: Can TDC7200 START signal use a sustained high level instead of a pulse in a measurement cycle?

Hi Team,

Customer is designing the START trigger circuit of TDC7200. If he followed the example in the below figure, use a rising edge instead of a pulse and maintain high level output to TDC7200 so as to trigger START in a measurement cycle, will it affect the measurement?
