Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC1614EVM
Hello team,
When external clock is used for the LDC1614-Q1, are there any tolerance recommendation for the external clock tolerance?
How to think about this?

Hirata

Hello Hirata-san,
We recommend using a 40MHz external oscillator with minimal drift over temperature and minimal jitter. This will maximize the resolution. Tight tolerances for the frequency will improve part-to-part variation. We recommend using an oscillator that is at least as good at the 40MHz oscillator used on the LDC1614EVM (part number can be found in the BOM in the User's Guide).
Best Regards,
