You can't use a single FET (Q35, Q36) to isolate the I2C bus. Switches are normally made up of two FET, but the biasing of the gate must also be chosen such that Vgs is not violated. I recommend using a PhotoMOS solid state relay (SSR) instead of Q35/Q36.
