PGA411-Q1: PGA411-Q1 @ 400Hz

Part Number: PGA411-Q1

Considering that a vast number of aerospace-related systems rely on 400Hz synchro/resolvers; is there another solution from TI that will allow for a resolver to digital conversion where the excitation is 400Hz. If so what part is that; if it not; is there another path that will lead to implementing such a solution using TI parts. Thanks,

  • Hello User,

Thanks for your interest on PGA411. Unfortunately the PGA411 is designed to operate in  10 Khz to 20 Khz range. Its specifically designed for Automotive applications.

The other solution if not PGA411 would be to build your own resolver using discrete circuits like, external exciter amplifier, Boost amplifier and simultaneous ADC that can measure Sin/Cos information from resolver and output the data to an external MCU for angle and position calculation. All of these parts could be found on www.ti.com
