Hi,
Is it possible to operate the PGA460PSM-EVM normally if the sample source code is used?
How can I make it work easily?
Best regards
Kato

Sadanori,
Please elaborate your use case and what you would like to accomplish with this EVM.
Hi Bharat-san,
Thank you for your quick response.
Could you please share the configuration file for the register setting with "PGA460-Q1 EVM GUI" if PGA460PSM-EVM can be connected to BOOSTXL-PGA460 ?
Best regards,
Kato
Hi Bharat-san,
Sorry for rushing you but please let me know if you have any updates.
Best regards,

Hi Kato-san,
The PGA460PSM-EVM can be paired with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP to repurpose the EVM GUI and Energia source code examples. You will need to connect the PGA460's UART TXD and RXD pins to the LaunchPad's P3.4 and P3.3 header pins respectively. You do not need the BOOSTXL-PGA460 to use the UART or SPI features of the available software. The BOOSTXL-PGA460's One-Wire Interface transceiver circuit can be repurposed in the event the TCI or OWU automotive interfaces need to be evaluated on the PGA450PSM-EVM.
The PGA460 ultrasonic sensing: EVM hardware, transducer, and driver selection (https://training.ti.com/pga460-ultrasonic-sensing-evm-hardware-transducer-and-driver-selection?context%5B0%5D=1128182&context%5B1%5D=1128161) video shows you how to connect the PGA460PSM-EVM or any other PGA460 board to the EVM hardware at time stamp: 1:44-2:27.
