LDC1312EVM: After Firmware update --> USB device unknown !

Part Number: LDC1312EVM

After updating EVM Firmware to the version, which is delivered with the EVM GUI-1.10.0, EVM board will not detected from the Computer .->> "unhnown USB device".

I used for updating the "MSP430 USB Firmware upgrade" software after board is in bootloader modus, because from GUI Firmware update was not possible.

LDC1312EVM board Rev. A

What can I do ?

Hello

One of the main reason we have seen with issues with firmware upgrade is either bad cables or the MSP430 was "bricked".

Have you had a chance to look at our FAQ ? There is a procedure if you have had issues with firmware upgrade. Let me know if the procedure describes help solve your issue.

Updating of Firmware by using MSP430 programming tool is possible, but Computer Shows my after connecting "Unkown USB device" !

Also EVM GUI Software can not connect to LDC1312EVM !

It is not a Problem of bad Connection or broken cable.

Sorry for my delayed response. Sorry to hear that you still have issues talking to the EVM.

I have found a couple of previous E2E threads that has similar issues as your but have found a work around can you please refer these threads and let us know if the driver issues are resolved ?

Hello,

i have tried all suggested Solutions in your last mail, but without success. May there is problem with the LDC itself. Is it possible to send me a new LDC board ?
