Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP1075
Old analog guy. Added TMP1075 to my board, 2 other devices on board using I2C bus. My code guy has no code written yet for the temp sensor, when board comes up temp sensor kills I2C. Tried different addresses. No good. Even floated address pins still no I2C comms. Only solution is to extract TMP1075 from PCB. Then I2C comms are OK. Code guy says it should not matter if master is not programmed, but I have checked and double ckecked all connections. Can this IC be added to I2C bus if not recognized by master? Thanks, old RF guy.
