Hi team,

Do you have a guide line for the shunt capacitor value used for LDC1614 EMI reduction recommended in SNOA962?

LDC1614EVM use 18pF x 4 for 330pF sensor cap. How do you determine this value?

I plan to change sensor cap to 33pF to increase Rp, then shunt cap becomes relatively larger (18pFx4 for 33pF sensor cap).

Is there any concern using this amount of shunt cap for this sensor cap?

Shinji,

It would make sense to reduce the EMI caps in that case. The general guideline we have is to keep the filtering caps lower than the sensor cap to improve sensitivity; however, this is certainly something that you could experiment with.
