DRV5033: Use only the N pole for operation confirmation

Part Number: DRV5033

1. Using the DRV5033 sensor device, the N and S poles are close to each other, and both act the same.
2. When the chip is assembled into the circuit, if only the N pole is used to confirm the operation, can it be determined that the chip is no problem?

  • Dear Meng,

    1. I don't understand if there is a question being asked here? The DRV5033 IS an omnipolar device, so either a North or South pole will cause the device to trigger.

    2. Are you asking here if you only need to evaluate one pole for proper operation? Again, I'm not 100% sure what you're asking here. Please clarify.
